main_kpi = wellbeing
Singer Holding invests only in technology that leaves people better than it found them.
Scroll down. For once, it leads somewhere.
I · The promise
They promised us connection. Every friend, every answer, every song in the world, one tap away. For a while, it felt like magic.
II · The trade
Then the question changed. From how do we help people to how do we keep them here.
Infinite feeds. Autoplay. Pull to refresh. Red badges, streaks, people you may know. Each one designed, tested and tuned to win a few more minutes of your day. Billions of people, one reflex: reach for the phone.
III · The metric
Every product has one number it lives for. For years, that number was your time.
Product teams call it the north star. Roadmaps are built around it, features live or die by it. Time spent, daily sessions, engagement. One number never made it onto the dashboard: whether the person on the other side of the screen is doing well.

We got exactly what we measured.
IV · The turn
main_kpi =
Time spent
Wellbeing.
So we changed the number. Every company we back has to show that people sleep better, focus deeper and spend more time in their own lives because it exists.
Where we invest
Tools that give focus back instead of farming it.
KPI · hours given backSleep, recovery and the quiet hours before and after the screen.
KPI · nights slept throughCalm, clarity and emotional strength, within reach for everyone.
KPI · calmer daysMovement and posture for bodies that spend their days at a screen.
KPI · hours in motionMore time with the people in the same room.
KPI · evenings togetherOur filter
Does it leave people better than it found them?
Can it prove that with honest numbers?
Would we give it to the people we love?
Portfolio
Zenbox is a small disc, about the size of an AirPods case, that works as a key for your phone. Tap your phone on it, and the apps that eat your day are locked. Zenbox stays where you put it, in the hallway or the kitchen. To unlock, you have to get up and walk over.
That bit of distance is enough to break the reflex. It is the first company we back, and the clearest example of what we look for.
